Once a year a bunch of scientist swop their lab coats for a pair of running shoes. About 20 odd ‘Cawthrunners’ met on a Saturday morning in St. Arnaud to circumnavigate Lake Rotoiti in the Nelson Lakes National Park. The 27 km long technical and undulating track was a challenge for all of us no matter what our ability. Running with a great bunch of like-minded people in a truly stunning setting is one of the best runs I’ve done so far. It does feel quite special to share experiences like that with your work colleagues. Have a look yourself.
